Roles & Responsibilities:

Analyzing requirements by engaging with primary stakeholders to determine specific feature expectations and resolve any ambiguities in the requirements.

Understanding technical issues and their business implications, and effectively communicating them to other stakeholders within the organization.

Writing unit test cases and modifying existing ones to improve code coverage.

Maintaining software versioning using code repository tools.

Contributing, enhancing and optimizing codes to support Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and Continuous Delivery.

Tracking and monitoring the entire project life cycle.

Documenting low-level and high-level designs, the implementation plan, and the technical specifications for the application.

Communicating project information to stakeholders through presentations and organizational tools.

Participating in sprint planning meetings, task grooming, estimation, and capacity planning meetings.

Creating project schedules and tracking team activities according to agile methodology.
-
Participating in retrospective meetings and creating team performance metrics after each release.
-
Developing simulators to mock third party applications during the development phase.

Performing ongoing software maintenance operations.

Providing technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems.

Researching, testing, or verifying proper functioning of software patches and fixes.

Evaluating critical code fixes to determine ship readiness and ensure that each release is delivered on time and of high quality.

Support production deployment and providing warranty support.

Analyzing existing applications when adding new features and recommending upgrades to improve performance baselines and support new features.

Job Requirements:
Required Master’s or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering (Any), or any related field + 1 year of experience in the job offered, Quality Assurance Engineer, Developer, Systems Engineer or related. Travel may be required to various unanticipated client sites throughout the US.
